Yong Li, MBA, Ph.D.
Dr. Yong Li is the Lee Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Lee Business School of the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where he is also the Research Director of the Troesh Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. His research focuses on how firms make strategic decisions in highly entrepreneurial contexts. He has published extensively and taken on editorial leadership positions in leading management and entrepreneurship journals. His research has been recognized in various forms and featured on Forbes, Entrepreneur.com, Crowdfund Insider, Knowledge@Wharton, among others.
Dr. Li has co-founded businesses and consulted for startups and companies. He currently sits on the advisory boards of several startups. He has given keynote speeches on topics of venture capital, crowdfunding, sharing economy, founding team, international expansion, and social entrepreneurship.
Dr. Li was a professor of strategy and entrepreneurship at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He received his Ph.D. in strategy and entrepreneurship from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from the University of Queensland, Australia.
